SDGS Interactive Data Map
The SDGS Interactive Data Map is an interactive map that allows viewing and downloading of information. It is available to provide as much access as possible to the state-held information pertinent to natural resources.
Base Maps - Street, aerial, terrain, and topographic base maps are provided by ESRI's online mapping service and are readily changeable.
Data layers presently contained in the interactive map are as follows:
- Data layers listed in the table below can be turned on and off
- The "Content" column in the table below lists the different kinds of information available
The South Dakota Minerals and Environment Board promulgates rules and issues permits in the following areas: air quality, solid waste, hazardous waste, mining, and oil & gas exploration and production activities. Decisions made by the Minerals and Environment Board are issued as board orders.
